I have a fancy terminal program for the ST called TAZ. It uses pageflipping and paletteswitching to emulate 16 colours in ST Medium. Really cool!
However, the program always changes to 60Hz
in this fancy mode and there isn't a toggle
in the code. The program is intended to run on a 1040STFM conencted to a TV. However, my TV doesn't sync 60Hz. Now, I'd like to ask if any hacker could examine the binary and patch it to use 50Hz.
My knowledge on Motorola asembly language
is mediocre and I hadn't succes with finding it myself. Guess its a supervisor move.b or somethign similar to switch the second bit at $ffff820a to 0, which should change to 60Hz. Anything like that....
Anybody out there who feels able to help?
PLEASE MAIL ME BECAUSE I REALLY WANT TO USE THE FANCY MODE INSTEAD OF BORING B/W.

many thanks, Matthias
