I tried to set up my Atari ST-1024 after it had been put away for several years to see if i could get it going. I put a game disk in (torvak the warrior :D) and turned the power button on. Unfortunately it didnt load up as the light on the computer (which the keyboard is built into) was on but it didnt make the loading noise it used to make when it read the disk. Also my monitor was just a white blank sreen with that bee (cursor) which if i remember right was the loading cursor. Any help on this?

As suggested, try the ST without a disk. If that fails, post back -- STs in storage can have chips work loose, but it's not too hard to put them back.
