Their are 2 PROPER solutions to the issue.

A) Source a supply or genuine 720K disks as
user CRASH suggested.

B) Upgrade your STE to TOS 2.06 and install
a modern 1.44MB HD 3.5 drive in your ST.
(don’t forget to change the appropriate
jumpers on both the FDD and the STE's
Motherboard)

well, you can change original atari floppy drive by other atari floppy 1.44 compatible.
