This unit was purchased BRAND NEW as in NIB from a small music store in Florida last year. They were going out of business and were cleaning out their warehouse. The unit was discovered in the back, it had become "lost" in inventory some time ago and they were quite surprised to find it.
It was a standard model, 4MB RAM and NO HDD.
Being an A+ certified technician and a 20 year Atarian, I took it upon myself to upgrade the unit before I placed it into storage.
I installed an Internal HDD mounting kit from Best Electronics with a new 2GB 2.5" HDD and a MC68882 math coprocessor.
I then burn-in tested the unit for 3 hours as I formatted the internal drive with HD Driver v8.1, installed all the software that came with the unit in a sealed package and verified that the co-processor was properly working.
I then repackaged the unit with all its original materials and placed it in storage.
The unit has a total run time of @ 3 hours and I certify that I have been the only one to ever touch the unit and that the factory seal on the bottom was opened by myself.
Note: I am an A+ certified technician and will be happy to make my license number available for verification to any serious buyers.
Also: The mouse is still unopened as I used another one for the test and the unit includes a new Falcon to VGA connector that I also bought form Best Electronics.
