EGA monitors use some really wierd dual TTL for each colour (I think), it will be very hard to connect an EGA monitor to an ST. You will have better luck with a VGA or CGA, better still just get hold of a small TV with SCART on it and it will give you a top notch picture (plus you get a TV).
