Well, you're starting to understand me. For example, if the CAB browser is not being developed for the Atari plataform anymore: wouldn't it be a good idea to release the source code and let other Atari developers keep doing that work? I'm *not* against commercial software. What I say is that for every Atari commercial application there should be a free one.
Now for the hardware, we all know that it is very expensive. But we have MagicMac/MagicPC! it can convert your PC in a very powerful Atari machine! But again, it's very expensive... I'm not against the native Atari hardware.... but an Atari-compatible OS for the PC's would be a good option to get a first contact with the people that doesn't know a bit of our machines....
