hi,

call me narrow minded, but i wouldnt want an intel based machine if it looked like an Atari or not!
I use a falcon for sequencing every day using cubase. I use it because it doesnt cause me hassle, its quiet, reliable and quick to boot.
However a large chunk of reason why I use the Atari, and also my Acorn is becuse I dont want to be like everyone else, and I dont want to use a PC.
You can fire off reasons like: cheap, readily availible componants, faster than the fastest Atari ever in the whole world.......... etc etc but when it comes down to it, I want a piece of equipment that makes me feel like im making a statement.
Like my falcon says to everyone who see's it: "I'm not part of the mainstream and I never f*#king will be"
So, nice idea, and im sure there is a market for it especially with the less religious folk out there! So don't let my opinions sway you, every new Atari option, cant be a bad one.
