But how many users think that PC is cool ?

PC architecture is same old that in first 8086...there is no memorymapped-io, no DSP-chip, no graphics in memory, no sprites...there is not anything new nice architecture.

Actually that constantly changing what you mean, is real problem...Do you ever have driver problem ?

Funny think is that I think that evolving stopped at Falcon. I know there is Milan and Hades (I have seen both)...but that evolving was to PC-direction and that was wrong direction.

Hey, at last we think same way...but reason is very different...I think that Linux is old dino too, because it based unix and unix is old...unix idea is good, but the practise...

Do you ever used the very powerfull commandline of Linux...and how easy build your own kernel...and switch GUI to not so windows like...

They always say that PC parts are so cheap, but I still wait when you can buy new usefull homecomputer at price 150euros/dollars like I buy at 1985...it was normal price for Spectaravideo SVI-728MSX (and it have sprites...and you cannot even buy PC these days that have sprites).

Lighter systems are not useless if you can put it in your pocket...

Yes that is what I mean...If we make new Atari, the normal PCI is old, we want new PCI...but hey, if we have all ports that we need, so we don't need PCI.

If you ask why we need fast ethernet...to professional HDcam editing...and because HDs are too slow for that we put stuff to tree HDs same time...Of course we want to new Atari that splitting in hardware.

Actually 1GB-ethernet don't cost very much if it's designed to motherboard.

--explanation to other atari freaks--
I make this provocative conversation with Damio, because I want open yours eyes to see, that I want new kind computer (ok SGI is nice, but...). Thanx Damio..and If you want to continue this...answer to this message (I want continue this)...
