Not had a look at the Falcons SCSI port for soldering, but why dont you just use the IDE?

My Falcon is using a Dual Compact Flash Adapter, its got a 512MB Card as C: and an 8GB Card as D: to J:.

On saying that, I dare say that if you are using a Ribbon cable, it should not be THAT difficult to do a SCSI upgrade surely?

The TT thankfully has both internal and external SCSI plus of course the ACSI.

Just thinking about the Floppy issues, I think the TT and Falcon are ok without a Floppy but my ST used to bomb... Erm, I think?
