Dont know.
I have to be completely honest with you on that, but I have not even thought about giving it a go at all???
Its stupid of me, but I went through a fairly long phaze with using samples in BreakThru, and sure, most of my music was a little... Well, crappy, I was having great fun learning all about it in the process...
When I finally got hold of CuBase Audio, I spent about an hour twiddling about with sample playback, where I played a couple of vocal samples and some sound effects and sure, I had fun, but thats all I ever did...
Never once tried to do anything with D2D and I never really give two hoots either.
Perhaps as I said, if I was to lay down a vocal track for sure, but other than that, I feel its not for me.
SCSI v IDE for smaller D2D snippets?
I dont know, again, but I do know that the SCSI is a lot faster than the IDE, and its this that was the deciding factor more than naything else... Oh, and the fact that the IDE goes through the CPU and therefore when recording to SCSI, you get full use of the CPU
