Thanks GGN!
I've done a lot of work with Desktop Virtualization as part of my job, so I may try running Ubumpoo in a VM and using DD on my Falcon disc attached to a USB - IDE adaptor.
I had thought about using a serial cable to transfer my disc's contents; it wouldn't preserve partitions but it's the files that are important so I could deal with it. That said, I can still remember setting up MIDInet between my TT and Falcon, and transferring the DOOM.WAD file from my TT to my Falcon (to use with Patrice Mandin's Doom Engines) - it took far too many hours to transfer just 30MB, and I've got nearly 400MB of data on my Falcon!
I have a USB SIO2PC for my 800XL etc... it would be easier to do this on my A8s than on TOS :-/
I will of course keep the community informed; I can't be the only person that wants to do this sort of thing. Or can I?
