Try my trick BTW... PC, STeEM, TOS 2.06 and a MIDI USB adaptor.

I use the M-audio midi port UNO.

STeEM will allow you to map MIDI events from the ST to the windows MIDI handler. I've tried CuBase lite (free to download) and a cracked copy of CuBase 2 with great results!
