I havn't disabled my CT2 since I got it, and I use the machine for everything. From programming demos, listening to internet-mp3-radio, using it for 3d-graphics and much more. It works very well!
There are the odd programs that doesn't work, but that's not surpricing as going to 1:1 CPU:DSP speed-ratio really is a difference from the standard 1:2 and some programs are finetuned for 1:2.
I don't know how well Cubase Audio works as I am no musician. Apex works fine, it even uses the accelerated Videl to set 640*480 hicolour VGA.
Today I couldn't use a non-fastram Falcon, it really makes everything fly speedwise, and having 64+4 mb instead of 4/14 is perfect, (almost) never any out of memory problems, even for demanding tasks.
But that said, the $500 asked on Ebay is too much (IMHO). A normal used Falcon is about $150 and a new CT2's were $180..
