I use Papyrus myself, its rock solid and does a very good job of printing pictures, but I think its a little limited to be honest for lots of colurs, but the basics its great.
Also Image Copy and GemView both print out perfectly well so give them a try... Both are available as shareware Versions.
As for DTP then Papyrus does a far better and far quicker job than Calamus ( for me anyway ), even though its only a Word Processor, its very powerful indeed.
