1. Not sure. Could be two clocks interfearing, building peaks at certain frequencies. It could also be that you use a bad/noisy oscillator.
2. Again, not sure. Try it and see how hot the Videl gets with proper cooling. If it gets too hot, settle for 50mhz.
3. Don't understand the question. 60/50Mhz should work with 256 & TC modes too. However you should note that due to bandwidth restrictions you cannot get much higher than 480x480 in TC unless you install a bus/CPU speeder. With a 25Mhz bus you should be able to get something like 720x540 in TC. (But it will be slow)
