I don't know why the led stopped
working, check to see if the cable
is backwards.
You should NEVER use side "B",
with notches cut in or whatever.
Inside the disk sleeve is a white
cushion material that sweeps away
dust/particles...and if you insert
the disk upside-down to access
the flip side, these particles can be
dislodged and scrape the surface
of the disk and/or RW head !
With 5.25" floppys costing just
pennies per dozen, why risk it?
