Hi there

Took my 2600 out of the loft and it's decided not to work. Its one of the small black units that came out after the woody. Case has a metal band going across it.

The fault is thus..

Turn it on, it either doesn't display or it displays a currupt picture of the game, which scrolls up the TV screen.

I've taken the unit appart cleaned up the cartridge slot. This helped a bit and i actually got a stable picture of pitfall. But breath or flex a muscle and it goes funny.

I was wondering if this is a sign the video chip has died, or perhaps the RF unit??
