Author: 0 (0) Date: -0 Hi I wish to fit a 3.5" HD Drive to my Falcon to replace my 60MB 2.5" one!. Can i just buy the brackets and fit one in or do i need to buy some kind of modification? I see that 16/32 Systems sell a Whizztronics adapter, is this neccassary and if so what does it do? Also what type and size HD can the Falcon accept, as i wish to fit the biggest possable (I was thinking about 20GB). I will also be purchasing HD Driver 8.1 from the ATARI WORKSHOP along with JINNEE and MAGIC, as my falcon is bog standard 16mhz, 14MB ram job! Thanks! P.S As you can guess by all the questions im new to the Atari scene, I bought my Falcon in 93, to replace my 520STfm that id had since i was 7, and put it in the attic not long after, due to me getting angry with it and giving it quite a thump resulting in a broken motherboard! but it has always been in my mind to use it again! (im only 22 years old!) So i bought a new one!!!! But things have changed since i bought the last copy of ST Format and then all 7 (i think)issues of ATARI WORLD (a great but short lived magazine!)SO i have no idea what all this JINNEE, MULTITOS and MAGIC stuff is about so please fill me in!!????
