help..got hold of a 1040 stfm..when it boots up I get the gem desktop..nothing else is installed on it but when I try to read a disk in the internal floppy drive, the window opens and says "0 bytes in ****mbs"
or similar..basically that the disk is empty.I know the disks are not blank as they are proper games..whats wrong?
the drive lights up and I can hear it reading the disk but thats all it does..
Is the drive faulty?? is this common and I have not loaded something properly.
Is it a software prob?
any views appreciated..
