Hi folks,

I still have my old external floppy drive for teh ST somewhere around.
But it does not work anymore. I tried it as drive b on my 1040 and it will not read any disks.
It is not an Atari drive. It is a standard old dd drive in a case with Atari adaptors - almost like a box with power supply for a pc drive.
Now my question is:
can I simplay exchange that old dd drive inside of the case for a modern HD drive?

(I know I will only be able to use it as a DD drive on my ST)

Any ideas or comments?
