I'm trying to upgrade a Falcon to 14 MB with a Ram Gizmo board I've been given. Am I right in thinking that there is a jumper that needs to be set in order for the Falcon to recognise the memory? Or is that wrong? I have put 4 * 4 MB memory (it worked on a PC )on to the board but the Falcon doesn't show the memory check when turned on. The Falcon still works with its 4 MB board.
Of course I don't have the fitting instructions, its version B of the board. Can someone help me out with the info I need or point me to a copy of the installation docs. The memory is 60 ns so I think its fast enough but it may be unsuitable in other ways.
