I am looking for someone who could open its STF case and list all electronics componants (and placement codes linked with) involved in the RGB to Composite signal conversion. I own a french STF, meening that the only video output is the 13 pins Din female plug with RGB signal and a 13 pins DIN male to male scart plug cable. I know that RGB is better quality than the Composite signal, but that is not the matter in this dicussion. My aim is to have a composite signal to drive other kind of monitor than my TV. As STF is 12 volts (and 5 Volts) internal used, I plan to plug my STF into my car (replacing the original power supply by my own) an use a 5 inch car-DVD screen. The problem is that this kind of sreen does not accept RGB but either YC or composite signal... except the expensive ones...
