I`ve read Wired`s top news some days ago. It appears that Amiga is going to release a developer`s machine at the Amiga2K show in St. Louis this April 1-2 2000

People will be able to follow this event with a live audio broadcast from the show.
The product was made in conjunction with ex-Amiga developers Tao Group (With Sony and Motorola being the main investers!). The new Elate RTOS and Intent Multimedia Toolkit will be the foundation of this product. The new multimedia OS will be totally processor independent! Even a SMP system with x86 and PPC will be possible. The consumer version will work on all current PPC powered Amigas and the new upcoming G3/G4 boards.

Also Amiga has moved to a bigger building and will put it`s new website online soon. hmmm :)
