can anyone help me here

turn on the old falcon today after 6 months or so and all i can hear is the hard drive clicking - then it goes to the desk top but hasn't accessed the hard drive at all - even the floppy is acting up - does anyone know why the hard drive would do this? - sticking head? ir is it dead! :0(
