It appears that most users of Atari Computers are under the impression that
we cannot directly access the new digital camera's memory chips. Well it ain't so!
If you have an Atari with an SCSI port that you can purchase a PCMCIA card reader. This will
plug directly into the SCSI chain and you can then access the portable chips that most camera's use. I have tried this with both Olympus
'and Kodak camera's. I have used this with both "SMART MEDIA" and COMPACT FLASH CARDS.

On my HADES you must run the program "mediachg" which comes with the HD
Hard Driver software package OR you must run BIG DOS. On a TT I was able
to use the ICD software without any other program. I would imagine, although I haven't tried it that
that other types of portable media that fit into these adapter will also work. The camera must also be saving
its files in a format that you can use, such as JPEG or TIF.
