Hi all
Sorry about reposting this but it dissapeared into the older messages as soon as I posted it and I wasn't sure whether anyone had read it.
Time to plague you with a few more questions. I've got hold of a 16mb TT memory card, which requires either 4mb or 16mb worth of simms (I think). Trouble is after sticking 4mb of known working simms into it, and adjusting the jumpers to what is said on the instructions (although there seems to be a slight errata in them, they seem to want 1mb x 8 or 4mb x 8, which blatently won't fit in the four sockets). I then turn the machine on (which works), but it doesn't seem to detect the fast ram at all. Is there something I'm missing? There are some more jumpers under where the memory sits, perhaps they need adjusting, or there seem to be some jumpers on the original ST ram card which perhaps could be adjusted (though I don't want to damage something by trying random settings. Or maybe I'm using the wrong 30pin simms. The memory board is a standard Atari model. Any ideas?
Thanks again for any advice.
