i'm using my STE, I have a hard drive now, which is lovely, works well.
the hard drive connects stright to my STE, and then it has a 50 pin D connector to allow other scsi equipment to be attached.
When I tried some scsi connection....... some hard drives, the power came on on the ste's hard drive, even though the power on button wasn't switched to on!
Therefore the hard drive must be getting power through the scsi cable?
The power protection light came on as red (led on front of hard drive casing), so I decided it was better to leave it alone after that!
My hard drive is labelled "Progate// 120dc"
if i want to attach a hard drive/zip disk to my st, is there a particular brand/size I should go for?
Ideally I'd like some removable media that I could connect to another computer also in order to transfer data accross.
