Hi! I recently purchased an Atari 1040 STfm off eBay about a month ago. I have been having a sort of hard time locating parts to upgrade my 1040. It seems that all the cool games I used to play on my IBM back in the days are also avaliable on the 1040, but with better sound and graphics. I also know that there is a better operating system avaliable for the 1040ST. Someone told me I probably have 1.04 because my ST reads IBM disketts. Is this true? I also heard there was a 2.06 version avaliable. Where can I get my hands on a new TOS?
I also have a 20mb SupraDrive that I bought for $2 dollars from some old woman selling plates and dishes at the $wap $hop here in Florida.
I would like to get a bigger hard drive, and maybe some other devices.
I had heard of Toad Computers, but I went to their web site (I think it was theirs) and they don't seem to sell stuff for the Atari anymore. I can't find Video 61's web site anymore either.
Any help anyone could give me.. I would really appreciate it.
