Hello fellow Atarians. I want to ask about a problem I have with one of my Falcons. When the
machine is turned on (or reset) it makes a loud annoying noise (like the equalisers so-called pink noise). Any sound that is being produced by the falcon is 'mixed" together with this "noise".
Now, sth interesting: when I run an accessory called "Matrix" that displays the Falcon sound matrix (dma, dsp, dacs etc.) and I press the "reset snd" button, the noise DISSAPEARS! Sadly, this is temporary, until the next reboot, or maybe till a next soundsys reset (e.g. running a demo).
Could this be a faulty dac/adc or a resistor/capacitor in the snd circuitry?

Thanks in advance and...
STAY ATARI !!!
