Ok, the Falcon has always done this, but its geting on my nerves now.
I am backing up my Files to HD and after a while, the system hangs... Well, I can move the mouse etc and it does everythign it should but its still trying to write the last file it was on...
I am backing up my files from a Compact Flash card, to a 4GB SCSI Drive. The SCSI Drive is a single 4GB FAT32 partition made in Windows ( Cos Im going to put that drive back into a PC to write the lot to a DVD )
Now, it will hang like it is doing, no matter what FileSystem, no matter what Drive is to or from. The CF Cards, and the HD are all flawless, so its not that.
I have had thoughts that it could be somehtign to do with my configuration of things rather than anything hardware, but of course, Im hoping that the solution will be easy to fix no matter what it is.

Ok, a 14MB Falcon. Magic 6.2 and Jinnee 2.5, Im using the built-in Copy routines of Jinnee, but it does the same if I use MagicDesks Copy routine or Kobold 3.5 ( German ). I also
When it does hang, as I said, I can do everything but if I try any disk access, I get a message tellign me that a copy operation is in progress so I cannot do anything, and its during the write process rater than the read because LEDPANEL shows this.
It does it no matter what HD its coming from or going to, as I said, its always done this.
Erm, what else?
Well, an annoying posibility is that it does it if I do a load of small files or a few large files, or even one very large file... So, might it be bad RAM? - The Ram check during the startup says the RAM is fine, so, is there any more specific RAM checks I can do on the Atari?
