Hi folks!
I have got my old Falcon out from the attic, where it has been in rest for a few years. It still boot up nicely from the external 3.5" IDE drive and the bootselector works fine too, BUT! doesn't matter what OS i boot up, MagiC or TOS, i always get the same dialog up on the screen when i click on any file: "Illegal File Format!" The same goes for all files, .PRG, .TXT or whatever. Any ideas what's wrong?
I wanted to use it in my Cubase SX based music studio as an external soundmodule running ACE, the DSP synthesizer, via MIDI. Though i only have the demo version of ACE.. Is there still anywhere i can buy the full version? I have searched the net but didn't find anything.. And, are there any other DSP based synth app's around? Thanx a ton! / H
