Ok, I have used BIGDOS before in a kind of "Oooh, lets see" way, but never truly trusted it.
Now, I use a 4GB Drive ( FAT32 - Windows Partitioned ) under Magic 6.2 for xfering the files to/from Windows, and this is also my archive drive.
Now, if I was to use BIGDOS under TOS, are there any known issues ( I want both read and write access to the drive )
I do also want this for my TT too! - as you know, the TT is limited to only 512MB partitions, and I could really do with bigger partitions than that.
The Falcon has a 512MB C: and the TT has a 256MB one... This is plenty really, but my E: ( Apps ) F: ( Graphics ) and G: ( Music ) partitions are all a tad full on the TT.
Its fine under Magic, but Im wondering about BIGDOS in TOS and Magic both having full R/W access to the partitions.
I am also soon to be going to MiNT ( Have been saying that for years though ) and I need to be 100% sure that the data is safe.
Only a paranoid rant here I know, but are there any issues at all?
