Just a couple of questions about the CT63 ... Ill be quick I promise.
Ok, Near the ATX Power connector... there is a CAPACITOR. Next to this is what looks like a 2x4 chip. I have now found out, that I need to solder the bottom/right 2 pins, together with the small trace that goes through them.
Rodolf Had missed this on my CT63 and this has now cured the issues of the TEMP problems I was constantly getting.

The FLASH Chip still nothing I can do about this.
The CHIP is an ST one.
Does anyone else have a flash-chip thats made by ST?
Most are AMD and FUJITSU and some are ST
Now, Rodolf has told me that I am using the wrong CT60 Package.
My BIOS is : 1.3c JULY 2005
So, naturally Im using the Packaged dated 20050713
This still does not recognise my FLASH CHIP.
Again, Rodolf does acknowledge this, and has told me that didier has released a patch for the very small number of people who have such issues... It still does not cure it.
No matter what I do, I cannot touch the FLASH CHIP on the CT63 as no program I have found, will do anything with it.
So, as I said...
If you have an AMD or a Fujitsu Flash, you will not have any problems. If you have an ST one, then you might or might not.
So, does anyone here have a CT63 with an ST Flash Chip or are you all AMD / Fuji?
