hi guys

am hoping some experts can help me

i have a MEGA ST 1 which is totally dead! well not quite...

the green keyboard light comes on and i know that the PSU is ok

but when i turn on the monitor it's just a black screen...nothing

the floppy drive doesn't make any noises and doesn't light up (but the drive is fine)

the ROMS are fine, i've swapped the MMU, GLUE, VIDEO, BLITTER with known working chips and it's still dead

all the other chips are soldered in but i can remove them

can anyone help as to what i should look at next?

i was thinking CPU and DMA?
