I recently purchased an Atari Falcon. This my first falcon. The machine boots fine and works with an external scsi drive. The internal drive did not work (I assumed there was one in there). So without opening the case I ordered a IDE to CF Adapter (44 pin) and a CF card (saw an article on how to do it).

When I open the case I was a little surprised. There was no drive and no bay for the 2.5 IDE drive - is there supposed to be a bay or bracket?

Also there were 3 sets of connectors - J16, J20 and P6. I assume P6 is the 44 pin IDE connector (I have to order the cable) what is J16 & J20 used for?

The Falcon also has a wizztronics 14 meg card in it.

Does anyone know if all CF cards will work or is there a particular size, brand, type?
