hi all

i have an SM 124 high resolution monitor which has a dim screen (ie: not bright)

it is useable but somthing is clearly wrong and i'm trying to sort it

and before someone asks yes the brightness and contrast are turned up the max...

i've changed all the capacitors on the motherboard (as this is the later type with the built in power supply on the main board) anyway i found 3 dry caps but it's still the same with it's dim screen

i've also turned up the sub brightness but it's at it's maximun

can anyone advise on what i should be looking at or what the problem could be?

i know these things are old and there are better methods for high res now but i'd like to repair this if i can

another strange little problem it has is when i turn it ON button the green LED takes about 3 to 5 seconds to illuminate, usually this would be associated with dried up caps...
