just spotted this new gadget

its not just any normal PC USB front panel device, its designed as a replacement for floppy drives as it uses a 34 way connector. Its mainly intended for industrial equipment that still use floppy drives.

so, whats the bet will it work on an Atari?

now we know that Atari floppy disk is a little quirky but similar to PC 720k and 1.44 formats, but I have used Epson SMD-300 floppy drives from certain HP 286-486 PCs and changed the jumpers around and fixed the Atari floppy front panel (no case sawing) and they work totally perfect.
