Hope you guys don't mind a bit of advertising but until a couple of years ago I wasnt aware of a webplace dedicated to the game of Kick Off 2 - and kinda wished someone had told me! So here you go...
www.ko-gathering.com - Started by a small group of fans back in 2001 it soon spawned it's first tournament hosted by Steve Screech - which would become the first Kick Off 2 World Cup.
Since then they'v hosted World Cups every year as well as national Championships and small local tournaments in peoples houses.
Granted the tournaments are played on Amiga's but we'r all 16 bit fans right?
A game whihc was developed and programmed on an Atari ST is still enjoying life today and with tournaments coming up in Birmingham England, Norway, Greece and a world cup in Germany, it's not too late to attend before everyone forgets the classic era of gaming to the PS3's etc.
