I bought my first ST in 1988 only really interested in music and not really knowing much about midi. As I got to know more about midi and what the ST
was capable off I was very excited about it.
At that time I used to amuse my self playing a Hammond organ, but it soon
became clear that my future interest in musiic was going to include the ST.
I no longer have the Hammond but now play with a Yamaha midi keyboard and
four Atari ST s I use BREAKTHRU software and a KORG 05RW sound
module
I am at present writing programs for the Atari to use one of them as a MIDI
filter. This project must self load from floppy at boot up and will not need a
video output.
As far as I am concerned the ST will live forever.
