Author: 0 (0) Date: -0 This is purely a thought... I was just wondering what is the fastest that can be expected from a hard disk on an Atari? as in data transfer rates and such! The thing is, that I have quite a few Hard Disks, and some are obviously faster than others, but they are all very slow in the long run. I think the fastest I have, is the DEC, which gives an access of 130ms, and a rate of just on 1.2MB/s. Ok, so 1.2MB a second is certainly fast enough for an Atari, but surely I can get better? Does anyone have a fast drive, and if so, what make/model is it? Mucho thanks! Damion
