Hi there...
I have pretty misterious problems with my falcon. As a beginner it took a while until i had it setup complete, now it works.... as long as i dont start any harddisk recording software (and this is why i got the falcon).
Any harddisk recording software i try hangs or breaks down after a few minutes... i have tos 4.04, 4 megs ram (i think), external scsi-harddisk (ibm, 1 GB) partet into 3 partitions, 1 small system, 2 ~500M partitions for recording data. i have tried several harddisk drivers, but the problem is with every driver. i have tried soundpool audiotracker demo, softjee dhs, quincy trial and every program crashed or hangs up after a while.
has anyone a idea what this could be... could it be memory? could it be probs with the audio hardware? (it's pretty strange, that every other software other than harddisk recording tools seem to work)
are there any system-check tools ala techtools on mac available for the falcon?
