I have an old SC1224 color monitor. Unfortunately the controls on the back are not correctly adjusted. I used a small screwdriver to adjust them manually, but it never looked as good as the original settings. (When it looks OK in 50 Hz, it looks bad in 60 Hz and vice versa, etc...)

There are problems with games and demos that use the overscan mode, too, as sometimes the upper or lower border is not displayed + I can only see parts of the left and right border. (There is no control to adjust the horizontal screen size.)

So my question is: Is there any tool available that helps you to adjust the monitor? Perhaps a little program that displays a test picture in different resolutions and frequencies?
