hope this is not too off topic.

Ive got a cheap Commodore 1084ST monitor that doesnt work, it looks in nice condition and just has a horizontal line across the picture.

On th back on of the screen one of the adjustment knobs has been completely broken off.

Was wondering, this unit is built by Philips and has stereo speakers on it, *but* it looks a lot different from the old 1084 monitors and the Philips 8833 MK2 (atari SC1435 etc), does anyone know what Philips monitor its based on?

I say this I know a company in the Netherlands who do Philips monitor spares but they cant help me, as they dont know what model my Commodore 1084ST is based on!!

It look otherwise really nice condition and would be a shape to dump it =o)
