Hello:

My Mega ST2 produces upon booting the same noise as when you keep a keyboard key pressed too long. This noise continues even if I disconnect the keyboard. I have no joystick connected. Any clues, anyone?

Also, could someone be so kind as to send me a set of elemental boot-up files via e-mail. I'd like to try and see if there's a problem with my boot disk. I also have a Mega Drive, 30MB, and booting from it produces same problem. Until I last used the Mega, it had a program called Universal Item Selector written if I am not wrong by Double Click Software. I would like to try, with the original boot files, to discard the possibility of that item selector causing me problems,

Finally, could there be a problem with TOS regarding maximum date of operation, something similar to the Y2K problem? I purchased my Mega back in 1987, and used it without problems until about 1995, when I succumbed due to need to using a PC instead and my Mega went to adecuate storage.

Thanks.
