Hello!

I have a little strange problem with the composite output from on of my Falcons.

The idea is to video-record some stuff, the vcr have composite input (unfortenly not RGB).

On my german Falcon everything is fine, picture is sharp and colours correct.

However from my UK Falcon I only receive a greyscale image on the composite pin (same connector as I used with the German Falcon).

I've had a couple of suggestions:

1. The UK composite differs from the rest of europe (wouldn't surprice me, their RF signal is different as well (sound on 'wrong' freq)).

2. The Falcon have svideo output, and the composite pin is used for the greyscale image and two other pins for the colour. This would suggest I can toggle the machine bewteen composite/svideo ? Never seen/heard about such a thing before.

Does anyone know if either of the two points above is correct, or if there is a third possible reason ?

Thanks in advance,
