Have original model Atari 520ST for restoration
I bought it as it had no power supply or disk drive thinking I could get it working as I had all the missing bits.
Has new set of keytops, case shell has very light yellowing.
Its dead (power light comes on but blank screen doesnt attempt to access floppy)
Have tried switching some of the socketed chips around with a STFM but to no avail. Suit someone with some kind of fault finding experience.
I suspect theres a problem with the memory, as theres a 1Mb upgrade in it with some thin hand soldered wires.
Like to see it restored, used and appreciated by someone. :o)
Includes original external PSU, SF354 single sided drive with PSU and cable.
On the bottom its stamped "10/1985" its /the/ first ST! You will need a monitor theres no TV output!
