Does anyone know what the following 810
 modification might be?

 A) The only replaced chip is the sideboard
OS chip, Has a hand written sticker on it
with the number 2238 on it.

 B) there are 3 wired jumpers on the back of
 the sideboard (only 3)

 C) Different formatting!,, drive head does
not travel from one end of disk to other
writing tracks and return writing in the
sectors. Instead it writes the sectors
right after writing a track so the format
completes with the drive head traveling
across the disk only 1 time. (bit faster to)

d)if you format a disk on this drive it will
read and write a bit faster than a stock 810
 format.

 e) it is not a Happy,,, happy software 5.3
 7.0 says,,, no happy.

 f) not an 810 turbo,, because the turbo
 required 6 wired jumpers.

 g) Best feature!,,, this upgrade NEVER allows
the drive to HONK!,,- HONK!,, always quiet!
