At the moment I'm looking at the possibilities surrounding the older computer systems. Being someone who grew up mostly with Ataris, I'm looking at these systems first.
One idea is a system reclamation and recycling scheme. This would involve reusing old second-user systems and their components to build a range of 'new' systems for home educational uses.
Such a project could lead to turning the old 8-bit systems into viable proposals again. There are likely to be some costs involved, particularly in some R & D with regards to new casing and possible system enhancements.
A new web site will be set up soon to promote the project but I'd like some feedback from this forum in the meantime.
I'd like to hear from those who may have an interest in joining the project. Preferably you would need to be able to assist with designing and building some of the modules and circuits for the prototype.
