Is Gemulator a parasite?

I wonder what is to become of Gemulator as it already strays from an altruistic path of an emulator.

Does anybody think that there should either be a parting of st emulation or indeed a spin off of Gemulator which instead of emulating an st begins to concentrate on providing a tos/gem or Magic environment which parasitises the given computer on which it is installed.

If asked to part with hard cash I would instead of buying an atari clone put my money into such a program for parasitising the latest technology.
