Been using MESS recently with some files and trying to get them to work.
Thing is the software require RAM in the $4000 - $7FFF region of the 7800 using the supercart cartridge and a 1megabit (128KB) ROM.
To expedite things, I've been trying to use the MESS emulator to try various hardware options to determine the correct RAM/ROM layout for the software.
Does anyone know the size of the RAM that MESS emulates in the $4000 region when you select the RAM option in the header file?
I tried emailing Dan Boris about this, but not sure if I'm getting thru to him or not. He may be too buzy.
Its frustrating software. Works great on a developer board, but is very picky on a emulator and EPROM cartridge!
